How old do I have to be?

For a tattoo you will need to be at least 18 years old, it is illegal in the UK to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 even with parental consent. We recommend staying away from anywhere that offers to do so.
 

Do I need ID?

Yes. At Clarence street photo  ID will be needed for every tattoo or piercing service. We accept any official government issued ID’s such as a Passport, Drivers License, Provisional License or Citizenship card. No ID no service.
 

Will I need a deposit?   

Yes. A deposit is required for all tattoos in order to be booked in. A deposit of either £50 or £100 will be taken to complete the booking although, You can put down more if you wish. Deposits are non refundable, and will be taken off of the total of your tattoo. Deposits can be paid over the phone, in person by cash or card or via bank transfer. Deposits are non refundable.
 

Do you do coverups? 

Yes we do! Coverups do depend on the existing tattoo and what you would like to cover it up with. We recommend booking in for a consultation so the artist can see the existing tattoo in person and go over all the possible design options. 

Can you cover scars? 

Scar cover ups entirely depend on the type of scar, how old the scar is as well as the placement of the scar and design, we recommend booking in a consultation with an artist so they can see the scar in person and go over all the possible design options.

Who can I bring with me?

Just yourself. Bringing extra people into the studio can distract our artist and their other clients, the studio can get very busy, very quickly.  So when coming in for your tattoo or piercing just bring yourself.

Do you do piercings? 

Yes we do, piercings are available Wednesday – Sunday. Our minimum age for lobe piercings is 8 years old. No we do not pierce babies. Age requirements depend on the piercing that you are looking to get done, and a physical copy of ID will be needed for everyone getting a piercing. If you are under 16 then a parent will need to accompany you, and both parent and child will need a form of ID.
